B.Pharm. is a 4-year undergraduate program. The full form of B.Pharm. is Bachelor of Pharmacy. This course is compulsory for anyone who wants to practice as a pharmacist. B.Pharm. course is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is a 4-year programme, with a six-month internship. This course enables a candidate to practice a professional career as a Pharmacist. Several of the universities are offering online Pharmacy degree across the globe.

Eligibility for B.Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

Candidates who have passed 10+2 in Science stream with both Mathematics and Biology groups- PCM/B from a recognized board are eligible to pursue B.Pharm. course.

B.Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy) Course Duration

The duration of the B.Pharm. the course is four years. The 4 years’ duration is divided into 8 semesters, with each semester lasting for a period of 6 months. 

B.Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy) Admission Process

Admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy is done on the basis of Candidate's performance in the Entrance test conducted by the university and followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. However, some of the private institutes and universities are offering direct admission into the program without appearing in an entrance test. The application form can be obtained either online or by post. The application forms are also available in the College / University office.

B.Pharm Entrance Exam Pattern

The duration of the B.Pharm. entrance test is one and a half hours (90 minutes). The entrance exam covers objective type questions. Each question will have four options or answers from which the candidate will have to select the appropriate one. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.
